2025 ALife Welcome Party! ALife 2024 Welcome Package 2024 ALife Welcome Party!

Dear Brothers and Sisters:

Just as we thought we are about done with the freezing winter temperature and ready for the spring-like warmth, it is hard to believe that it’s rainy, cold, and possibly will snow tonight! Seasons change, circumstances and situations change, people change, but God’s goodness does not change, nor is his faithfulness subject to time and space. It doesn’t need to be balmy 70 degrees outside to remind us how great our God is, because rain or shine, our joy rests in Him!

Prayer Requests
1.     Brother Chaujun is very weak because he is still unable to eat. Please refrain from going to visit him in the hospital because it will become a burden to Chaujun and his family. Please also refrain from calling Sisiter Jingmann. The caring team will provide updates of Chaujun’s condition to everyone. Chaujun’s doctors are having a meeting this week to discuss his conditions. Please pray that Chaujun and his doctors will reach a consensus on his treatment. Please also pray for Chaujun’s father’s health as well as Jingmann’s sciatic pain as she needs much strength and energy to take care of Brother Chaujun and the family. Pray, may the Lord have mercy and help soon! If you are willing to help prepare meals for the Lee family, please sign up here: http://tinyurl.com/FoodForLeeFamily

2.     On 3/11 Japan faces the greatest disaster in their country’s history, a combination of earthquakes, a tsunami, nuclear power plant explosion, and an erupting volcano. May all brothers and sisters unite with the world in prayer, may the Lord use this disaster to show His power, so that the world may see that God is real and His glory. Homework
Scripture Reading: Matthew 8:5~13, 2 Corinthians 12:1~10

The Bible teaches us that God’s will is clear and unchangeable. It also tells us the importance of prayers, and commands us to pray for everything.

We will use the following examples to discuss the relationship between God’s will and prayers.

1.       The centurion’s servant was healed:

1)       Was it God’s will to heal him?

2)       If the centurion did not ask Jesus to heal his servant, would the servant still be healed? Why?

2.       Paul asked God three times (several times), but God did not heal his illness.

1)       Is it because Paul did not have enough faith that God did not heal his illness?

2)       Does it mean that Paul’s prayers are useless if it is God’s will not to heal him?
