| 1. 朝正兄上星期四看了醫生，由於這次化療用的新藥，效果並不好，目前將停止，然後再看是否有更好的新藥能幫助朝正兄，請我們為這來代禱，求神開路。朝正兄仍有吞嚥的困難、說話不清楚、肩頰骨疼痛的問題，而且也久久不能下床，朝正兄需要我們迫切的代禱，需要我們的扶持，求主加添力量，求主憐憫。 2. 詹婆婆已蒙主恩召，告別追思禮拜將於3月5日(六)早上10點半在教會舉行，9點半起瞻仰遺容，求主安慰、看顧詹公公、麗雲姐、Jonathan、Matildaㄧ家人。 | |||||

| 1. First take a look at this week’s verse. Hmm… salt. Since salt gives flavor, this must mean that Christians should influence the world to have heavenly flavor, and make all people to experience a life full of flavor! Also, salt can melt ice and snow. Then this must imply that Christians are ambassadors of peace, and to melt all hatred and enmities! Do the above explanation accordance to the teachings in the Bible? How does one interpret the Bible correctly? Therefore, don’t miss this week’s special fellowship! Rev. Johann Lai’s special lecture on “Ten Steps to Interpret the Bible” commences! Please view the details of the lecture’s schedule below: 3/4 (Fri): 8:00pm – 10:00pm (Abundant Life Fellowship) Rev Lai (Dallas Theological Seminary, S.T.M., D. Min.) is currently serving as the president of Sacred Logos Resource Center (since 2004). He also serves as a visiting professor in Homiletics at Christian Witness Theological Seminary in California, as well as a visiting professor in Pastoral Studies at Alliance Bible Seminary in Hong Kong. We will start on time at 8:00pm, so please come early! 2. This week’s Grace class will be cancelled due to Rev. Lai’s special lecture. See you next week! 3. The deadline for the Joint English Ministry and Abundant Life Retreat registration is THIS SUNDAY (3/6)! Fellowship that Friday will be cancelled, so hurry and sign up! | 1. Brother Chaujun went to see the doctor last Thursday. Given that he is using new medication for the chemotherapy, the effects are not good and will discontinue. For now a search for better medication to help Brother Chaujun starts, hence please put this in prayer and that the Lord will open a way. Brother Chaujun still has swallowing, speaking, and scapula pain problems, preventing him from getting out of bed. He is in urgent need for our prayers, our encouragement! May the Lord give him strength, and show mercy. 2. Grandma Jan has passed on, and the memorial service will take place on March 5th at 10:30am. 9:30am is the viewing. May the Lord watch over Grandpa Jan, Sister Lihyuan, Jonathan, and Matilda’s family, and give them peace. | |||||
