2.    本週六 1/15/11 豐盛團契的同工會要開會了! 時間是下午1:30, 地點在教會。會中我們將選舉新一年的同工幹部，請弟兄姊妹踴躍參加。

3.    1/16/11星期日是聯合聚會，時間為10:30。禮拜結束後有教會一年一度的會員大會，會中將選舉新的長老與執事，請教會會員務必出席。新選出的長老與執事將在 1/23/11主日接受按立就職。

4.    豐盛團契即將向教會提出2011新的年度預算，希望大家一起集思廣益，如果你知道任何適合團契的教材、課程、活動，或是有需要更新或是採買的器材，請向平青提出。

2.     請大家繼續為Victoria姐姐的身體禱告，求神減輕她的憂慮，幫助她的睡眠，保守她手術可以平安順利。也求主賜給Victoria的家人心裡平安。

3.     腕佑下星期一需要回台灣一趟，請大家為他的旅途順利代禱，並祈求神的平安以及慈愛能夠與他同在。

4.    請為我們 1/15/11 的同工會禱告，求主帶領我們豐盛團契下一年的方向，感動我們的心，選出合神心意的新幹部，也求神賜給我們智慧與能力，讓我們同心為這一年的事工努力。

5.    寒假結束，新學期開始，請大家為還在學的弟兄姊妹代禱。求神幫助他們學習有專注的心以及有自制力，不論是學校課業、教會的服事、實習工作、人際關係、以及自己的靈修成長，都能夠有神的帶領以及祝福。

6.    最近有幾位姊妹感冒了，請大家為她們的復原以及身體健康代禱。這幾天氣溫驟降，有積雪以及路滑的情形，請弟兄姊妹開車時特別留意路況，減速慢行。

主耶穌說：“我留下平安給你們，我將我的平安賜給你們。我所賜的，不像世人所賜的；你們心裡不要憂愁，也不要膽怯”。（約翰福音14:27）

在路加福音12:49-54，主耶穌又說：“我來要把火丟在地上，倘若已經著起來，不也是我所願意的嗎？我有當受的洗還沒有成就，我是何等的迫切呢！你們以為我來，是叫地上太平嗎？我告訴你們：不是，乃是叫人分爭⋯。”

1.     請問以上這兩處經文是否有矛盾？請解釋。

2.     請問約翰福音14:27中，主耶穌所說的平安指的是什麼？

1)     在路加福音12:49中，主耶穌說：“我來要把火丟在地上”。這“火”指的是什麼？

2)     在路加福音12:50中，主耶穌說：“我有當受的洗”所指的是什麼？

3)     在路加福音12:51中，“紛爭”指的是什麼？

3.     請以詩篇1:1~3為例：

1)             先默想，解釋這段經文。

2)             請把這三節經文你所領受到的，化為你的禱告的內容。

2.   Don’t forget the A-Life Annual Co-Worker’s Meeting at 1:30pm on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at church! We are going to elect new leaders for year 2011. Mark your calendar and hope to see you there!

3.  We will have joint worship service at 10:30am on January 16, 2011. After the service, there will be CTPC Annual Congregation Meeting, and all members are expected to attend. We will elect new elders and deacons during the meeting, and the ordination and installation of new elders and deacons is on January 23, 2011.

4.  Abundant Life Fellowship is preparing the submission of 2011 fellowship budget to church.  We welcome everyone’s comments and suggestions for Bible study material, reference books, classes and activities, or any new equipment that we need. Please contact Ping-Ching if you have thoughts and ideas.

2.   Please continue to pray for Victoria’s sister. Pray that God will lessen her worries and anxiety, and help her sleep. Please also pray for positive result of her surgery, as well as peace and strength to be with Victoria’s family.

3.   Wanyu is leaving for Taiwan on Monday. Please pray for his trip and may the peace and love of God be with him during his time in Taiwan.

4.  Let us pray for our Co-Worker’s Meeting on January 15, 2011. May God lead the direction of Abundant Life fellowship this year, touch our hearts, and elect new leaders accordingly to His ways.

5.  Please pray for brothers and sisters who are students. As the winter vacation came to an end and new semester begins, please pray that God will help them develop self discipline and focus on their school work, fellowship duties, internships, interpersonal relationships, as well as their spiritual growth, and give them guidance and blessings in everything they do.

6.   A couple of sisters have been sick lately. Please pray for their recovery and physical health. It has been cold and snowing with sleet and snow accumulation recently. Please be careful when driving and drive slowly.

In John 14:27, it says: “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. In Luke 12:49~51, it also says: “I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled! But I have a baptism to undergo, and how distressed I am until it is completed! Do you think I came to bring peace on earth? No, I tell you, but division…”

1.   Are these verses contradictory? How do you explain it?

2.   In John 14:27, what does “peace” mean?

1)     In Luke 12:49, Jesus said: “I have come to bring fire on the earth.” What is “fire” referring to?

2)     In Luke 12:50, Jesus said: “I have baptism to undergo.” What does it mean?

3)     In Luke 12:51, what is “division” referring to?

3.   Use Psalms 1:1~3 as an example.

1)       Meditate and interpret these verses.

2)       Apply what you have learned from these verses into your prayers.
