同學們！本週 Grace Class是第一回合的最後一堂！下週便是大討論！感謝我們辛苦的老師！大家一定要來喔！

4. 剉冰義賣成功！
感謝大家在5月7-8日的剉冰義助日本賑災活動中的幫忙! 當日約募得$700，而這些款項將全部捐給位於日本的基督徒組織，日本基督徒救難行動，來協助其賑災活動。

5. 5/14 (六) 徵兩位壯丁！
星期六早上9點需要兩位弟兄可以幫黃新鈺弟兄在菁滿姐家整裡花園。意願者請和平青聯絡！

6. 5/28 (六) 首府食物銀行志工服務確認！
志工服務是5/28(六)，下午1:00pm – 4:00pm。要算人頭囉！請有登記的人將確認信轉寄給東昇或與他本人告知。目前已和他通知的人有：承瑾、瑰瑩、柑吟、吳愷文、葉約書亞、葉潔西卡、怡如、聖心和東昇。不在名單上的請盡快和他聯絡！車子接送安排近期將會通知。

7. 6/25 (六) 日本賑災手工藝義賣活動
我們將聯合英語部，一同來舉辦手工藝義賣活動！活動包括手工藝品販賣、DIY攤位、遊戲、和表演等等。有興趣者請在這週日5/15來開會！將於樓下圖書館吃午飯時進行！

日期 : 6/25 (六)
地點 : 北維州台灣長老教會
捐款至 : 日本基督徒救難行動)
需要 : 以下活動的義工: 販賣你自己的藝品、擔任停車場交通志工、DIY攤位協調者、準備甜點及烘培食物、負責採買

需要 : 少年團契小組組長數名！

9. 協助李家人計劃
為了繼續對李家人提供財務支持(以減輕貸款、聖香和聖心的大學學費、日常花費的負擔)，請開支票給“Shulien Su”, 菁滿姐的妹妹。她會負責將捐款交給李家人。

聯絡：東昇會負責收取捐款支票，再將這些款項交給菁滿姐和其妹處理。

10. 李家雅房出租
徵1至2位不抽菸，沒有寵物的女房客來承租獨立屋中的其中一間房。配備有開放式廚房、客廳，餐廳等。

I live in a studio in College Park, MD, and it is fully furnished. The location is right next to I-495 and is right off Exit 23, Greenbelt. Please contact me if you are interested. 1. 為菁滿姐一家在朝正兄過世後的生活調適禱告，並且為他們的經濟狀況禱告。菁滿姐這幾天胃痛、頭痛和嚴重的失眠，祈求主看顧菁滿姊的身體，讓她能有平靜的心、足夠的睡眠。也感謝大家對菁滿姊的關心，但是請大家暫時不要打電話給她，讓菁滿姊有一段單獨的時間能平靜她的心，她需要的是我們的代禱，與從神來的安慰。

2. Jade 今天離開回台灣。請為她回台灣之後，仍有神的批護及帶領，而持續有一個健康的靈修、教會生活！

3. 請大家為 Jerry Hsieh 禱告。以下為其代禱事項：

– 姑丈因心臟問題送急診。目前情況穩定，以回家休息。醫生還不知原因，請繼續為此代禱，願神賜給他們智慧以給予正當的治療。
– 奶奶患有轉移性甲狀腺癌，五星期之後將接受I-131治療。
– 姑姑照顧兩個人負擔沉重，健康耗損。
– 父母出遊三週。
– 保守Jerry能夠在所有家事中順利將學業完成、事情辦妥。

7. 6/25 (Sat) Japan Relief Art Fair Fundraiser
We are uniting with the EM to host a community Arts fair! Fair includes crafts/arts, do-it-yourself booths, games, and shows, etc. If you are interested, please come to our next meeting on May 15, Sunday! The meeting will be held in the library downstairs during lunch time!

To help with finances (mortgage, Susan and Sheng-Shin’s college education fund, daily needs), please make checks out to “Shulien Su”, Sister Chinman’s sister, who will make funds available to the Lees.

Prayer Requests

1. Please pray for the Lee family’s daily life after the passing of Brother Chaujun. Please also put their financial situation in prayer. Sister Chinman lately has been suffering stomach aches, headaches, and severe insomnia. Pray that the Lord watches over her health, give her peace and enough sleep. Many thanks to everyone’s care for Sister Chinman, but please do not call her these days. Allow Sister Chinman to have some quiet time and calm her heart. She needs our prayers and comfort from the Lord.

2. Jade has left for Taiwan today. Please pray for God’s protection and guidance when she goes back to Taiwan, and that she will continue to have a healthy spiritual and church life!

3. Please pray for Jerry Hsieh. The prayer requests are as follows:

– Uncle was rushed to the ER from a currently unknown heart trouble. He is home now, but the doctors still don’t know the reason. Pray that the Lord will grant them wisdom, and give him proper treatment.
– Grandmother is a metastatic thyroid cancer patient.  She is doing fine for the most part, but it is going to be another six weeks before she can receive her I-131 treatment.
– Aunt is not in the top shape either, and now she has to care for both of them.
– Parents are en route to NYC for three weeks.
– Focus on what needs to get done here (i.e. finals) in the mist of what is going on at home.
