6.

基督沒有自己的床鋪,降世時,客店借他一把乾草;

基督沒有存款,行神跡用的餅魚,是小孩獻的;

基督沒有車子,進耶路撒冷時借了驢駒一頭;

一無所留更是基督,身外的全是借的,身內的全數盡傾;

Blessed are those who have regard for the weak; the LORD delivers them in times of trouble. The LORD protects and preserves them— they are counted among the blessed in the land— he does not give them over to the desire of their foes. The LORD sustains them on their sickbed and restores them from their bed of illness. (Psalm 41:1-3)

6.   Borrow

Christ didn’t have his own bed; when he came to earth, he borrowed a stack of hay from an innkeeper.
Christ didn’t have his own grave; when he left earth, he borrowed a cave from a Sanhedrin.

Christ didn’t have savings; the bread and fish he used to perform the miracle with was offered by a child;
Christ didn’t have chattels; the boat he used to give lectures was lent by villagers.

Christ didn’t have a car; he borrowed a donkey to enter Jerusalem.
Christ didn’t have a house; he borrowed another’s home for the last supper.

The one who had nothing is Christ.
No tall hats or golden crowns; only thorns on his head.
No rings or gloves; only nails in his hands.
The one who kept nothing is Christ.
Everything outside was borrowed, everything inside was all poured out.

To borrow— was his symbol.
To give— was his LIFE!

Prayer Requests
1.    Brother Chuajun’s pain in his neck still needs our urgent prayers. Last week he went to see the doctor in GW University Hospital, and he suggested to continue using the Target and 3-in-1 medication. The doctors in Fair Oaks Hospital however advised to use the new medication from Johns Hopkins University. Let us bring all of this into prayer, that God would lead Brother Chaujun and Sister Jingmann, to be in one with God’s guidance, and decide how to choose the path of treatment ahead. May God’s abundant love fill those who depend on Him, and may our prayers be pleasing to God’s plan.

2.    Let us pray for our Co-Worker’s Meeting on January 15, 2011. May God lead the direction of Abundant Life fellowship in the new year, touch our hearts, and elect new leaders accordingly to His ways.

3.    We have many brothers and sisters that are traveling during this holiday season, so please pray for safe travels, and that they may be God’s testimonies when they spend time with their families and friends.
