Basically what we do is to help pack food for the needy in CAFB’s warehouse. It is nothing complicated, so you could definitely give a loving helping hand. Due to complication, Jean could not register as a group, so, if interested, please follow these steps to register:

(1) Go to http://volunteer.capitalareafoodbank.org/sys-php/hfh/sched/view.php
(2) Complete registration before signing up
(3) Make sure you sign up for the 2/23, 6:30 – 8:30 pm slot
(4) After registration, the system will send you an e-mail of confirmation
(5) Let Jean know if you have registered successfully, so she can get a final count of people. Thank you!

4.   Interested in singing in a choir for Easter? For Easter, Jean has a song that she would love to share with the whole congregation. The song is called “Remember me”, and has lyrics in English/Taiwanese/Mandarin. She thought it would be great if A-life could come up with a special tiny choir with the help of Jospeh Chen (Taiwanese congregation choir’s conductor) as conductor. Tentative practice schedule would be Sunday afternoon (after lunch). If you are interested in joining, could you please let Jean know in person or by e-mail ASAP? Please also indicate your vocal range (Soprano/Alto/Tenor/Bass). A few people already expressed their interest, but the more the merrier. People from EM and Taiwanese congregation might join too! So, it’s not too late to contact Jean!

5.   This Sunday, February 13, 2:00 – 3:30pm, the ALife leaders will be holding their first meeting of the year! Yay~ so excited! If you have suggestions or comments for this year, please let the leaders know! Thank you! Let us make our fellowship better together!

Prayer Requests
1.    Brother Chaujun went in for chemotherapy last Thursday, and had the side effects of dizziness and loss of appetite. Since he is having difficulty swallowing, Brother Chaujun needs food in liquid form. If you have recipes that mild, soft, or of thick soup, please email to Brother Chaujun, or email Sister Yujen so she can forward to Sister Jingmann. This will help her to create meals with more variations, and Brother Chaujun will hopefully have a better appetite. Thank you all for your continuous prayers and care.

2.    Please pray for the 2/13 Co-workers meeting. May God guide our leaders’ hearts to make decisions for 2011 planning according to His ways.

Homework
Wow~ Last week’s performance on question-answering was teeeerrrrriblllllle! Time to shape up and study, people!

Scripture Reading: Romans 1 and 2

1.   If someone says to you: “Since God is love, He will not allow good people to go to hell, even if they have not accepted Jesus and been saved.” How do you respond to this?

2.   If someone asks you: “If God is righteous, will He allow people who never have the opportunity to hear the gospel to go to hell?” Please give your answer and elaborate.
