1. 本週Grace class 慕道班課程是｢聖經的觀點:人存在的意義｣。期待你的參與！課後我們的喜多也會分享影響他最深的經節，絕對不要錯過喔！以防你不知道喜多是誰，喜多= Theodore = Ted!

2. 上週的預防感冒祕方漏掉最重要的部分！
多喝熱開水、熱巧克力牛奶、補充睡眠、還有禱告！大家一起努力抵抗感冒吧！

代禱事項

1. 朝正兄上1/20 8:00點已出院，這次的發燒是因為感冒的緣故。鼻竇炎也繼續吃抗生素。由於腫瘤有壓迫到神經，引起左邊臉頰發麻，眼皮下垂，吃東西也有吞嚥的困難，本來要作的化療延到這星期。朝正兄極需要我們不斷的代禱，懇求主再次賜下力量給朝正兄，讓他的感冒早日恢復，有足夠的體力面對治療，也求主的恩典、憐憫能一直與朝正兄、菁滿姐同在，保守菁滿姐的感冒和減輕她心裏的種種負擔。

2. 腕佑回台灣了。請大家為他的旅途順利代禱，並祈求神的平安以及慈愛能夠與他同在。

3. 請大家為 Steven 的媽媽禱告。Steven 的媽媽兩個禮拜前出車禍，目前仍有頭痛及視線模糊的後遺症，身體也會疼痛。Steven 和他媽媽的車子都在修理中，所以出入不方便。Steven自己也會背痛。求主的醫治大能降臨他們身上，為種種的不便和挫折開路。

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings. (1 Peter 5:7-9)

1. This week’s topic for Grace class is “Bible’s View on The Meaning of Human Existence”. We look forward to your participation! Our dear Ted will be sharing a verse that influenced him greatly after class, so don’t miss it!

2. I forgot one important element from last week’s secret remedy to fight colds!
Drink plenty of hot water, hot chocolate, have abundant sleep, and PRAY! Colds, you’re going down!

Prayer Requests

1. Brother Chaujun left the hospital at 8:00pm on 1/20. The fever was caused by a cold. He continues to take antibiotics for his sinusitis. Since the tumor is pressing his nerve, it is causing numbness to the left side of his face, eyelid drooping, and making it difficult to swallow when eating. The chemotherapy is pushed to this week. Brother Chaujun severely needs our continuous prayers. Pray that the Lord give him strength once more, be healed from the cold, and have enough energy to face treatment. May the Lord’s grace and mercy continue to be with Brother Chaujun and Sister Jingmann, protect Sister Jingmann from her cold and stress in her heart.

2. Wanyu went back to Taiwan. Please pray for his time together with his family, and may the Lord’s peace, wisdom and love be with him.

3. Please pray for Steven’s mom. Steven’s mom was in a car accident two weeks ago, and is still suffering from headaches and blurred vision, her body has pain as well. Both Steven and his mom’s cars are at the shop for repair, hence it is inconvenient for them to commute. Steven is suffering from back pain as well. May the Lord’s healing power be upon them, and open a door for all inconveniences and challenges.

Homework

This Friday’s Topic: “Winning Your Spiritual Battle by Walking in God’s Ways Every Day”
Do you want to win every spiritual battle? Do you want to remain on strong footing with God when you go through hardships? Please take a few minutes to think about the following questions:

1. Define “winner” from the perspective of Christianity.

2. Spare a little time every day during this week, bring yourself to God, and ask Him to shed light on what you need to repent of. Write them down and share with your team members on Friday.

3. Do you long for walking in God’s ways every day? What are the actions that you can take to help you walk in God’s ways every day?
