「絲弦樂音齊頌揚，磬鼓笙歌念故鄉–2024感恩音樂會」(11-2-2024)

古箏是一種擁有兩千五百年以上歷史的撥弦樂器。我們誠摯邀請您參加由北維州台灣基督長老教會「恩典古箏班」主辦的「絲弦樂音齊頌揚，磬鼓笙歌念故鄉」感恩音樂會。本次音樂會除了由古箏班主辦，還有教會聖歌隊、青少年福音樂團、手鐘團共同演出，並邀請了「華府台灣學校打擊樂團」、「華府台灣學校古箏」、「馬里蘭聖經教會古箏班」，以及著名的「華府台灣絲竹室內樂團」共襄盛舉，精彩可期！本次音樂會將演奏膾炙人口的台灣民謠。此外，音樂會中還會用各種樂器演奏並吟唱世界知名的詩歌，如。您可能聽過這些旋律，但當這些詩歌以絲弦樂器演奏、台語吟唱時，您將感受到別樣的優美。這些詩歌與旋律，將我們的心靈與故鄉台灣緊密相連。

音樂會結束後，將邀請有興趣的嘉賓體驗古箏及其他樂器的演奏樂趣。我們教會也準備了豐盛的台灣小吃，招待來參加音樂會的貴賓，讓大家不僅可以享受台灣的詩歌，也能品嚐台灣的美食。誠心歡迎您和您的親朋好友於11月2日蒞臨我們教會，參加「絲弦樂音齊頌揚，磬鼓笙歌念故鄉」感恩音樂會！當天，您來到現場，您的心將會充滿對故鄉的熱情與感動！！

Strings of Praise, Sounds of Home: A Thanksgiving Concertㄚ
The guzheng, a plucked string instrument with a history of over 2,500 years, captivates with its melodies, its sound, and even more so with the atmosphere, flavor, and emotional resonance it creates. We sincerely invite you to attend the Thanksgiving Concert, “Strings of Praise, Sounds of Home,” organized by the Grace Guzheng Class of Chesterbrook Taiwanese Presbyterian Church. The concert will feature performances of Taiwanese folk songs. While you may have heard these familiar tunes before, their guzheng renditions will bring a fresh and unique flavor. The program also includes hymns played on various instruments and sung in Taiwanese. These hymns, when performed with silk-stringed instruments and sung in Taiwanese, will offer a new sense of beauty.

After the concert, guests will be invited to experience the joy of playing the guzheng and other instruments. Our church has also prepared a delightful spread of traditional Taiwanese snacks to welcome our esteemed guests. We warmly welcome you, your family, and friends to join us on November 2nd at our church. Your heart will be filled with passion and emotion for your homeland on this special day!

恩典古箏班 Grace Guzheng Ensemble

“要用角聲讚美祂，鼓瑟彈琴讚美祂！
“要用琴歌頌耶和華，用琴和詩歌的聲音歌頌祂!” (詩篇 98:5)
跳舞讚美祂！用絲弦的樂器和簫的聲音讚美祂!” (詩篇150:3-4)
“Make music to the Lord with the harp,
with the harp and the sound of singing, (Psalm 98:5)
Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet,
praise him with the harp and lyre,
praise him with timbrel and dancing,
praise him with the strings and pipe,” (Psalm 150: 3-4)

「北維州台灣基督長老教會古箏班」成立的宗旨是透過學習古箏獨特的指法和韻味來彈奏詩歌，藉由重奏與合奏的形式，在音樂中經歷神的愛與恩典。上課氣氛融洽，學生不僅學習古箏技巧，還一起探討詩歌的意義，彼此關懷，分享信仰見證。自成立以來，學生們認真學習，除了參加教會音樂會的演出，也在主日禮拜中獻詩，以絲弦樂器讚美祂，為崇拜增添美好的音樂奉獻。

The CTPC Guzheng Class was established to teach students how to play hymns through the guzheng’s unique finger techniques and tonal expression. By performing in both ensemble and solo settings, students experience God’s love and grace through music. The class fosters a harmonious atmosphere where students not only learn guzheng techniques but also explore the meaning of the hymns, care for one another, and share their faith testimonies. Since its inception, students have been dedicated to their studies, performing at church music events and offering worship during Sunday services. Through the sound of silk-stringed instruments, they praise Him, bringing beautiful musical offerings to enrich the worship experience.

Purpose:

Promote the beauty of Christian and Taiwanese music through the special expressiveness of guzheng techniques.
Enjoy God’s grace and love through playing praise songs (Click for a playlist of some examples.) and experience the beauty of fellowshipping and working together to serve by playing music together as an ensemble.

古箏班成立的宗旨是以學習古箏特有的指法和韻味彈奏詩歌為主，在重奏與合奏等形式彈奏詩歌中，經歷神的愛和恩典。古箏班上課氣氛融洽，除了學習古箏彈奏技巧之外，也討論詩歌的意義，彼此關心，分享見證。成立至今，同學們認真學習，已與聖歌隊一起在教會獻詩過五首詩歌，也在Open House演奏古箏重奏：
