DESCRIPTION:We’re excited to announce that the Marfan Foundation’s Walk for Victory is happening on Saturday\, May 9th\, from 11 AM to 2 PM at Meadowbrook Local Park in Chevy Chase\, MD. \nWe wholeheartedly encourage our CTPC family to join the Yang family’s efforts in supporting the Marfan Foundation’s Walk for Victory. Please note that this year’s walk falls on the same day as our Mother’s Day celebration\, so we completely understand if you’re unable to participate. \nMJ loves having Marfan fans cheering him on from all around the country\, and you can support him in person or virtually! DESCRIPTION:Summer is quickly approaching\, which means that our Summer Retreat is almost here. This year\, our theme is Cultivating Gospel-Centered Relationships. We will examine how we can build a stronger community through developing better\, deeper relationships. \nOur speaker is Pastor Woojin Lee from Embrace Ministry. Pastor Woojin was born in S. Korea and came to America when he was a teenager. He graduated from the same seminary as Pastor Young (roommate for 3 years) and served in different churches in Northern Virginia ever since. He has been married for 15 years to his beautiful wife\, Grace. DESCRIPTION:The list of Prison Fellowship’s annual Angel Tree program has arrived! This year\, we have a limited number of adoptees (8 children from 5 families in total)\, and we will be mobilizing Community Groups to sponsor one family for each of our three groups. We are also looking for individuals/families (in addition to Community Groups) to support this cause! The deadline to sign up is 12/3\, and we will have a gift wrapping party on 12/10 after our Sunday service. Contact Eric Huang for any questions.
