English Pastor
Ken was born in Lawrence, Kansas but grew up on the East Coast for most of his life. Ken attended church all his life, but it wasn’t until his senior year in high school where God slowly awakened him to the beauty of the gospel. While in college at Virginia Tech, Ken’s faith continued to grow especially through involvement with Campus Crusade for Christ and Asian Christan Fellowship (now called Cornerstone). Towards the latter years in college, Ken sensed a call into full time ministry. After graduating from Virginia Tech, he spent two years serving his home church, TAFPC. In 1998, Ken headed north to study at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. During his studies, he interned at Bethany Christian Fellowship. It was at Bethany where Ken met Monique Fung. A few years later, they started to date and got married in 2001. After graduating, Ken and Monique sensed a call to CTPC to serve the youth group and to start a young adult ministry. In May of 2005, Ken was ordained as Minister of Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church (USA) and is now the associate pastor of Chesterbrook Taiwanese Presbyterian Church. Ken and Monique have two sons, Matthew and Justin, and a daughter Alisa.
