Meet our Children’s Ministry Director

I was born and grew up in a Christian family in Taiwan. My father is a pastor in a Baptist church in Taiwan. It was very blessed that I got to serve God since a young age. I grew up in Sunday school, and I started to serve as a church pianist when I was in 3rd grade. After I was baptized at the age of 11, I continue to be involved in all kinds of church activities. God never stopped granting his amazing grace to me and my family although there were difficult moments and challenges in our life.

I came to States in 2004 to pursue music study in Baltimore. For me and my family, to pursue advanced study in US was an impossible mission (or more like a day dream) because my parents couldn’t even afford a plane ticket, not to mention other expenses. Through God’s guidance, I came to States with confidence, and God did create a way for me. He constantly sent helpers and allowed me to obtain grants, scholarships, loving funds and other sponsorships when I needed them so that I could successfully finished school studies and continue remaining in the country until now.

Last year, I had a chance to teach kids again in a Montessori school in Baltimore. Once again, I was inspired by their many pure hearts and smiles through the process of teaching and sharing. So, I am very glad that God brought me to CTPC to allow me to share what I gained from Him with kids here!

Thanks,
Huai-En (Ryan) Tsai
