Pray for our short term missionaries

Every summer, we get the privilege of sending folks from our congregation overseas to do missions work. It’s a great honor to come alongside of Pauline, Tim, and Elaine in their ministries. Below are short descriptions of their respective work as well as a link for more details. Please keep them in your prayers and consider supporting them financially as well.

Pauline Wu will be headed to Japan from June 15 to 30. Pauline will be volunteering with Christian Relief, Assistance, Support and Hope (CRASH), a network supporting Christians to do relief work in Japan and around the world. The biggest need right now is in headquarters, helping with administrative tasks and logistics, so that is likely where Pauline will be placed. Learn more about her trip by downloading her support letter.

Tim Hu will be headed “somewhere in Asia” with V-SET as a Volunteer Summer English Teacher whose focus is to create relationships with students in a foreign nation through teaching English in hopes of opportunities to share the gospel. He is currently in training in SF and will be away from June 19-August 11th. For more information, download his prayer letter.

Elaine Chang will be headed to Nalerigu, Ghana on a medial mission through the ministry of the Baptist Medical Centre from July 31 until August 28. Elaine will be working in the outpatient clinic. People travel far, even from neighboring countries, because they know they can receive quality medical care there. Thousands of people come to know Christ through the BMC every year. Forty churches have been planted as a direct result of the BMC’s work. For more information on her work and how you can support and pray for her, download her prayer later.
